The Resting Place
Rest. Shabbat. Cease.
It’s as simple as that.
If you’ve found yourself in The Resting Place, you are invited to lay down your burdens, call your work enough, and rest.
At Chronic Wholeness, we believe in and honor the fullest meaning of Shabbat. The Hebrew word shabbat, often translated as “rest,” more fully means to cease. It is the practice of looking at all you’ve done, calling it good and enough, and resting in the knowing that the world will not fall apart if you stop.
In fact, it just might feel better and brighter after a pause.
Whether you have time for a brief pause or a longer rest, this space is here for you. If you need a moment to pray, to be prayed with, or to have someone pray on your behalf, you are welcome here.
Here you’ll find guided prayers on a variety of topics. Some are wordless, others are full of words, but all of them make space for pause.
If you’d like to reach out for prayer, your information will be kept confidential. Simply complete the prayer form below.
